REPAIR PARTS (as removed from) SEIKO-OKI M-64S COLORPAINTER CAPPING STATION. We just disassembled a capping station from a Seiko M-64S and are offering all of the parts as shown in our included pictures. I have seen several of these M-64S capping stations where the four "cam wheels" (as shown in our 2nd included picture) are no.
Longer synchronised together as a group to raise and lower the "caps" above them in a perfectly flat, horizontal movement, so all of. The caps touch and seal all the printheads at once. These four cam wheels (pic # 2) each have a slot molded into their. Outside face that is designed to engage a "pin" molded into the black plastic end caps (2 pieces included) as shown in our pictures # 3 & 4. As the cams rotate, the pins cause them to raise and lower and thus raising and lowering the cap's metal platform above them.
When one or more of the four black pins is broken off (as shown in an old part from another printer in our pic # 6) the capping. Platform is no longer supported equally and it tilts out of level causing all kinds of interference problems as the printhead carriage.
All of the other parts that we removed from this capping station are also included as shown in our picture 2 thru 15. The sheet metal piece shown in picture # 1 with the capping station part number identification label is shown for reference only and is not included. If you don't see it, it is not included with the listing.
I just found a complete new in box M-64S capping station on the internet for about three thousand dollars, so if you are good at. Fixing mechanical things yourself, this might be just what you need.
